Our Baby Unit (Tel: 01978 751840)
Our self contained baby unit is registered for 21 children, with a staff ratio of 1:3. The unit consists of play areas, sleeping area and nappy changing facilities, as well as an outdoor play area.
We are happy to take babies between the ages of 10 weeks and 18 months (at which time they would move up to the Toddler unit). From a very early age, our children are entertained with a wide range of activities to benefit their development, and each child takes home an information sheet detailing the day's activities.
Staff in this area work closely with parents, particularly in the 'settling in' period, during which we will follow the child's usual routine, before gradually introducing our daily routines.

Pre-school childcare at Caego Day Nursery
Based in the old Berse Church hall, Caego Day Nursery is beautifully equipped with everything your children could ever need to prepare them for school, develop social skills and learn through play in a fun, but safe, environment.
Registered for 52 children, and split into 3 sections (Toddlers, Pre-School & Early Years) the facilities available in these departments are beyond doubt second to none, including a fantastic soft play area, which allows the children to explore and play in safety whilst allowing the staff to remain inobtrusive.
We are registered by WBC to provide Early Years Education, and are the approved setting for the Caego and Broughton area. Our Early Years advisers recommend our establishment as our resources and facilities are second to none.Older children in the Pre-School unit (3 years plus) follow the "early years" programme as laid down by the Wrexham Early Years Team. It is our aim to give our Pre-School children a firm foundation in:
- Language, Literacy and communication skills
- Personal and social development
- Mathematical development
- Knowledge and understanding of the World
- Physical & creative development
The wealth of knowledge that the children receive in this department remains with them and enables them to grasp schoolroom tasks with ease. Our fully trained staff regularly assess and record the children's progress, and you are free to discuss your child's abilities at any time.
